Crump Insurance Services, the property & casualty division of Crump Group, has appointed John Landry as new senior vice president to its national property practice.

In his new role, he will focus on brokering large property accounts, including real estate and habitational risks.

Crump said that the appointment is part of its strategic plan to increase the depth of property specialization across its nationwide network of brokers.

Landry has over 14 years of engineering and underwriting experience, as well as several years as a wholesale broker.

He previously worked with St Paul Companies and USF&G, where he specialized in fire protection engineering and catastrophe risk management.

Crump Insurance Services president Dave Obenauer said John’s technical background as an engineer and underwriter give him an exceptional understanding of these exposures.
