CRM Holdings, a provider of a full range of products and services for the workers' compensation insurance industry, has appointed two prominent investment managers to oversee the investment portfolios of its primary insurance and reinsurance subsidiaries.

The company said General Re-New England Asset Management (GR-NEAM), an investment advisor specializing in offering asset management and capital management services to the insurance industry, will manage the investment portfolio of Majestic Insurance, CRM’s California-based primary insurance subsidiary.

According to CRM Holdings, GR-NEAM uses proprietary decision-making tools and specialized services to deliver effective asset and capital management solutions within the context of evolving regulatory, accounting and tax issues faced by US insurance companies.

Morgan Stanley Investment Management (MSIM), the asset management division of Morgan Stanley, will oversee the investment portfolio of Twin Bridges, CRM’s Bermuda-based reinsurance subsidiary. MSIM manages assets for a range of institutional clients and will manage Twin Bridges’s portfolio from its London office.
