CRC Insurance Services, the wholesale insurance subsidiary of BB&T, has signed an agreement with TB&C Wholesale Insurance Services, a wholesale insurance brokerage firm, to combine two of the California offices of both companies, which will operate as CRC Insurance Services.

According to CRC Insurance, Robin Robb and Joseph Rowland, managing partners of TB&C, will combine their locations with the company’s Santa Ana and Glendale, California offices.

Ms Robb will serve as office president-casualty in Glendale. Prior to this, she was a broker for Sterling West Insurance Services where she was the point contact between in-house brokers and several markets.

Mr Rowland will serve as office president in Santa Ana. Previously, he served as broker/partner for Sterling West Insurance Services. He also has served as broker for firms in Chicago and England.

In conjunction, the company has also appointed James Kuchta to office president-professional liability in the Glendale office. Prior to joining CRC, he was a wholesale broker at a Los Angeles firm.

The company said that Ms Robb, Mr Rowland, and Mr Kuchta, along with Mickey Hopkins, office president in Redondo Beach, will head the southern California operations.
