Crawford Appoints Senior Vice President

Previously, Mr. Johnstone served as Vice President of GTS in Canada

Crawford & Company, a provider of claims management and related suit to the risk management and insurance industry, has named Bill Johnstone as Senior Vice President of Global Technical Services (GTS) for the Americas, a newly created position.

Previously, he served as Vice President of GTS in Canada since 2005. He will continue to lead those services directly in Canada, in addition to being responsible for establishing policy, marketing and business development for GTS in the Americas.

Mr. Johnstone will report to Kevin Frawley, Chief Executive Officer, Property & Casualty – Americas. Mr. Frawley said: “Bill’s substantial experience and reputation in the insurance industry and with Crawford make him the ideal candidate to help us achieve those goals.”

Thomas Carstens, Vice President of GTS/Property Services/Marine Services, will continue to report directly to Philip Porter, Senior Vice President of US Property & Casualty, and also report to Johnstone on a matrix basis.

GTS offers incident claims handling for catastrophic and complex claims, high-value property and casualty claims.
