Hewitt’s delegated investment services is said to provide US pension plan sponsors with an effective way to manage their plans

Hewitt Associates is going to provide delegated investment services to Crawford & Company, a provider of claims management and related solutions to the risk management and insurance industry.

Hewitt’s delegated investment services is said to provide US pension plan sponsors with an effective way to manage their plans. The company works with a plan sponsor’s investment committee to chop out investment policy guidelines, funding policies, appropriate risk posture, and target asset allocations.

Hewitt assumes responsibility, including co-fiduciary obligations, for managing plan investments. Unlike most outsourced investment solutions, all fees associated with Hewitt’s delegated investment services are fully disclosed to clients.

Hewitt claims that its delegated investment services leverage its global research and pension risk management solutions, to help plan sponsors manage the assets and liabilities in their pension plans. The company is able to monitor the assets and liabilities of a firm’s pension plan on a frequent basis, by means of its pension risk management tools.
