Insurance company Coventry Health Care has reported operating revenue of $2.79 billion for the period ended December 31, 2007, compared to $1.94 billion for the fourth quarter of 2006.

Net earnings were $184.3 million, or $1.18 per diluted share for the fourth quarter of 2007, compared to $156 million, $0.97 per diluted share for the fourth quarter of 2006.

For the full-year period ended December 31, 2007, total revenues were $9.88 billion, an increase of 28%, compared to the full-year period of 2006. Net earnings were $626.1 million, or $3.98 per diluted share, an increase of 15% for the full-year period of 2007, compared to the full-year period of 2006.
