Conseco, an insurance holding company, has promoted Timothy Bischof to the role of vice president of enterprise risk management. Mr Bischof will report to Tim Tongson, senior vice president and corporate actuary.

Mr Bischof is responsible for overseeing and coordinating the enterprise-wide risk management process in conjunction with Conseco’s enterprise risk management (ERM) committee.

At Conseco, Mr Bischof served previously as senior director of corporate actuarial, with responsibility for supporting the chief actuary in providing oversight of the company’s insurance businesses and planning leadership.

Mr Bischof earned a Bachelor of Science degree in mathematics and education from Rockhurst College, and a Master of Science in statistics from the University of Iowa.
