Confie Seguros, a national provider of personal lines insurance, announced that it has acquired Baja Auto Insurance, a leading provider of auto insurance throughout Texas.

Founded in 2006 with one store in Dallas, Baja has since grown organically and with two acquisitions to bring its total locations today to 59 offices in the Dallas/Ft. Worth metro area and 29 offices in the Houston area.

Valeria Rico, Chief Executive Officer of Confie Seguros, said, "We are very pleased to add Baja’s 88 locations which solidify Confie’s footprint in the Dallas area and greatly strengthen our position throughout the state. With our current A-Affordable and Freeway locations this acquisition makes us the premier provider of auto insurance across the state.

"Baja has grown rapidly, and we are pleased to welcome the company’s approximately 200 employees who will help us continue our growth in Texas. Our pipeline of potential acquisitions remains robust and we look forward to completing additional acquisitions that will broaden our geographic reach."

Confie has acquired and successfully integrated over 80 businesses since its inception and has grown to a national retail organization that oversees over 650 offices.

Established in 2008, Confie Seguros is a leading, California-based national insurance distribution company primarily focused on the insurance needs of Hispanic consumers.

The experienced Confie Seguros management team continues to build Confie Seguros’ portfolio of regional personal lines brokerages, and today has annual revenue of over $350 million and over 650 retail locations.
