CompWest Insurance, a member of Accident Fund Holdings, has entered into an agreement with managing general agent Roamnet to sell workers' compensation insurance to the automotive service industry in California, US.
CompWest Insurance, through Roamnet, will provide insurance products in the $1,500 to $500,000 premium range to the automotive service industry in the region.
The automotive service industry comprises of retail/convenience stores, body shops, retail gas stations and different auto service centers.
CompWest Insurance president Bryan Bogardus said: "Roamnet has an excellent reputation in the insurance industry and significant expertise in this segment, and we are excited to enter into this partnership."
In May this year, CompWest has added four insurance professionals to its California team, in a bid to expand its operations in the region.
CompWest also provides insurance services to the health care, hospitality, manufacturing and retail/wholesale sectors.
Accident Fund Holdings, through its four brands, provides workers’ compensation insurance in the US. The brands include Accident Fund, United Heartland, CompWest and Third Coast Underwriters.
