Perot Systems would provide technology and business process services to improve the Seattle-based health plan's back-office functions
Community Health Plan of Washington (CHP Washington) and Perot Systems Corporation has inked an agreement. As per the deal, Perot Systems would provide technology and business process services to improve the Seattle-based health plan’s back-office functions.
The services to be handled by Perot Systems includes claims processing, claims adjustments, enrollment, premium billing, and configuration. Perot Systems will employ its technology to aid CHP Washington to minimise claims processing time and achieve low administrative costs.
Mike Evans, VP of Customer Care Operations for CHP Washington, said: “Perot Systems business process expertise will enable us to achieve our mission of delivering accessible managed care services which meet the needs and improve the health of the communities we serve.”
Perot Systems provides payer administration and management service teams, both on-site and through Perot Systems service centers, to help payers manage claims administration. These capabilities intends to provide such solutions as data verification, claims and encounter processing for claims adjudication and billing, cash management and account reconciliation.
