Collins, which places reinsurance coverage for companies in the property-casualty, life, and accident and health insurance markets, has appointed Kristine Westall as senior vice president of brokerage operations.
Ms Westall, who joins Collins’s senior management team, will report directly to president and CEO Patrick Denzer. She will be responsible for client claims and accounting services, information technology, contracts, compliance and administration. She previously was senior vice president of client claims and accounting services.
Ms Westall assumes her new responsibilities following the departure of Vibhu Sharma, COO of Collins. Mr Sharma is to become CFO for Zurich North America Commercial.
Mr Denzer said: Kris has contributed greatly to Collins since joining us two years ago. This new substantial, additional responsibility reflects not only the contributions she has made, but the potential we see in her to lead our operations and solidify client relationships.
