CNA Select Risk which includes Excess & Surplus (E&S) business, and also Wholesale Property accounts, has unveiled two new locations including New York City and Los Angeles.

According to CNA Select, the two new locations will help it to extend its geographic reach with efficient accessibility to distribution partners, and continue to provide a customer-focused approach to writing wholesale casualty business.

The company said that Sean McPhillips, who recently joined CNA Select Risk as regional assistant vice president, will lead the New York office and focus on developing its northeast presence. Most recently he served as manager of the First Mercury Emerald office in New York City.

In addition, the company has appointed Jim Faley as the new regional assistant vice president to lead the Los Angeles office. Mr Faley previously served as vice president for XL Re, and, most recently, managing excess and umbrella as western region manager for First Mercury Emerald.
