CNA Financial, a property and casualty company, has appointed three additional commercial underwriting officers totaling 13, to date, to ensure that the full complement of CNA’s products and services are presented to every account. The new officers are scheduled to begin their new roles in this month.
The compay has hired Jamie Abercrombie, who has more than 27 years of underwriting experience. Most recently, he served as vice president of risk management for the Chubb Group of Insurance Companies’ Mid-Atlantic region.
Tony Fenton joins CNA from Allied Insurance, where he began his career as an underwriting intern. Over the past 12 years, Mr Fenton has held underwriting positions of increasing responsibility; most recently serving as commercial underwriting director. He will be based in Denver.
Michael Shneibaum brings 16 years of insurance experience to this new role. Most recently, he served as branch manager/senior underwriting manager for OneBeacon Insurance’s Southeast Branch.
