CNA Financial, a provider of property and casualty and commercial insurance firm, has opened a new branch office in Birmingham, Alabama. This is the fourth of five new branches opened over the past year.
According to CNA, the new branch will enable the global business insurer to enhance its geographic footprint and build closer proximity to its agents, brokers and customers.
Additionally, CNA will add resources and point-of-sale authority in the new location. Recently appointed Kent Skidmore, branch vice president, will lead the Birmingham office.
In addition to this office, CNA has opened new branch offices in Chicago, Washington DC, and Los Angeles. The company said that a new branch office is scheduled to open later this year in New York.
