Commercial insurer CNA has appointed Valynda Murphy as new vice president of underwriting for its commercial technology segment.
In this position, Murphy will be responsible for collaborating with the global insurer’s other key business units to drive this segment forward and to further strengthen its market presence.
Murphy will join CNA from Marsh USA, where she served as technology placement leader and managing director.
Murphy has over 25 years of commercial underwriting and brokerage experience. Prior to Marsh, she held technology leadership roles at USF&G Insurance and St Paul Insurance.
