CNA Financial has appointed Rob Huber as the new officer for Southeastern Zone, effective 1 November 2010.

In this role, Huber will be responsible for aligning the branch structure of the CNA’s Southeastern Zone with its strategy to drive profitable growth.

In addition, Huber will also manage the Atlanta branch office previously led by Ken May, who is leaving CNA.

The CNA’s Southeastern Zone comprises Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Louisiana, Mississippi, North Carolina, South Carolina and Tennessee, and includes offices in Birmingham, Charlotte, Maitland, Nashville and New Orleans.

Huber will join CNA from Ace USA, where he served as senior vice president and regional executive officer for its Southeast territory. His 17-year career began at AIG, and includes agency experience as well as a successful record in underwriting, production and field management.
