CNA has unveiled a new Kidnap, Ransom and Extortion insurance policy to meet the requirements of security-related circumstances which will be faced by any company.

The new insurance policy will cover situations effected from threats to damage property or harm employees without ransom demand and political evacuation for either business traveler or emigrant.

The policy will also cover the situations including child abduction from a hospital or daycare center, disappearance of an employee during his travel on travel on company business to workplace.

The insurer said that the coverage will be offered to the insured’s directors, officers and employees on a worldwide basis.

To offer this policy, CNA has partnered with London-based red24, which will facilitate the insureds to access red24’s online reports and travel security website and risk mitigation training.
