US-based commercial insurer CNA Financial has appointed John Schramm as the new vice president of its Dallas, Texas branch, US.
Schramm, in his new role will be responsible for synchronising branch operations with CNA’s strategic goals for long-term success, including increasing local authority at the point of sale and improving service to agents and brokers in the territory.
Prior to joining CNA, Schramm served as vice president and zone executive of Chartis Global Energy business.
Schramm also held various leadership positions in business development, excess casualty and national accounts at both Chartis and The Chubb Group of Insurance Companies.
Established in 1897, CNA is a commercial insurance writer and the property and casualty company that offers standard commercial lines, specialty lines, surety, marine and other property and casualty coverages.
