CNA Insurance (CNA Europe), a UK-based commercial insurance writer, has appointed Justin Godman as its new casualty underwriting manager.
In his new role, Godman will report to the European Property & Casualty Underwriting director Mark Beattie.
Beattie said Godman brings more than 20 years of insurance industry and significant underwriting skills and managerial experience to the London team as well as excellent broker relationships.
”Justin is responsible for driving our London Casualty business forward during 2012 and beyond, with emphasis on profitable growth in our chosen specialist areas,” Beattie added.
Prior to joining CNA, Godman served as regional underwriting manager for Chartis, where he was responsible for managing the Casualty account, comprising of both UK and multinational business.
Godman worked for seven years at Allianz in various underwriting and sales roles, and also held underwriting positions at Zurich Commercial.
