CNA Financial and BoatUS, a provider of insurance services to recreational boaters, have said that they will continue to provide marine insurance coverages to recreational boaters across the US.

Together, BoatUS and CNA will offer various coverages for boats of all types, from yachts to personal watercraft – with policies offered on an agreed hull value, actual cash value or liability only basis.

According to CNA, the new policy benefits available for the policyholders this year include: diminishing deductibles, a benefit that automatically discounts the hull deductible by 25% each year the policy remains claim-free.

Water sports package that provides protection for water sports equipment, including coverage for skis, wakeboards and inflatables, along with increased medical payments.

The premier value package for smaller boats, offering increased medical payments, higher personal effects limits, ice and freezing coverage and a depreciation waiver for boats aged 10 years and under.

CNA added that for anglers who fish by boat, additional coverage will be available for fishing equipment and gear along with cruising area extensions covering all of North America.
