CNA Financial has appointed John Scroope as new vice president of its Boston branch, effective 2 May 2011.
In this role, Scroope will be responsible for synchronizing branch operations with CNA’s strategic goals for long-term success, including increasing local authority at the point of sale and improving service to agents and brokers in this territory.
Scroope will join CNA with 17 years of insurance experience in property and casualty insurance marketing, underwriting and field management.
Most recently, Scroope served as national distribution manager for OneBeacon Insurance.
CNA’s insurance products include standard commercial lines, specialty lines, surety, marine and other property and casualty coverages. The services also include risk management, information services, underwriting, risk control and claims administration.
