Citibank has opened a new branch in Hsinchu, Taiwan and launched its CitiGold Global Access service, which offers exclusive benefits to the bank's wealth management clients, in the country.

Citibank is the first and only foreign bank operating in the Hsinchu area. The company’s new branch is located in a six-floor financial building 2,310 square meters of floor space. It is the second flagship branch in Taiwan to adopt Citi’s global customer-oriented retail experience, or CORE, branch design, and will offer a complete range of financial services covering wealth management, mortgages, personal loans, and insurance products and services.

A ceremony to celebrate the opening of the Hsinchu branch included the launch of the CitiGold Global Access (CGA) service in Taiwan. This service enables Citibank Taiwan wealth management clients to enjoy exclusive CitiGold benefits and CitiGold Connect and CitiGold foreign exchange services when they are overseas.

According to Citibank, the CGA service comes in response to the changing needs of its CitiGold customer base, as identified in a recent Citibank survey involving over 1,200 CitiGold clients.
