CITA Insurance Services and Brown and Brown Program Insurance Services announced an Errors & Omissions program with a focus on contemporary coverage that insurance agents need and deserve.

CITA’s E&O program addresses Vanishing and Capped Deductibles, Personal Identity/Cyber Event Coverage (1st Party), an 80/20 Consent to Settle provision and specifically provides insolvency coverage for carriers rated S or better by Demotech, Inc. First year sole practitioners, diversified larger agencies, principals and risk managers alike will see contemporary policy coverage and meaningful endorsements.

John Jasinski, Chief Marketing Officer, Brown and Brown Program Insurance Services Inc., Executive Vice President of CITA Insurance Services, stated, "We evaluated the needs of agencies and identified the need for contemporary coverage, as well as options that enhance affordability and expand coverage.

"For example, if an E&O carrier has not yet expanded its insolvency provision to explicitly address insurer ratings issued by Demotech, what other provisions of that carrier’s E&O policy are antiquated?"

CITA’s Insurance Agent E&O Program is an exclusive program available for all eligible financially stable carriers and producers. The program is offered on an admitted basis in 49 states. Filing for admitted approval in the state of Washington is in process.

CITA Insurance Services is a professional liability insurance industry leading Program Administrator with over 50 years of proven experience. CITA is a subsidiary of Brown & Brown, Inc.

In addition to the new contemporary coverage offering, CITA also offers extensive risk management capabilities and claims administration under the trade name Lancer Claims Services.
