International health insurer Cigna has rolled out a brand new assortment of international health insurance products, to help customers get the benefit of various plans that meet their particular healthcare requirements and budget.

Comprising Silver, Gold and Platinum coverage levels, the new individual private medical insurance policies offer customers more flexibility with modular cover options and a choice of cost share and deductible levels.

The health service company said that the new products come in response to customer demand for more choice and more flexible healthcare options, which also replaces existing Cigna Global Health Options and Advance plans.

Beginning with core International Medical Insurance, which covers all inpatient, specialist and accommodation costs, and cancer and psychiatric care, the customers can select additional options, including outpatient, health & wellbeing, medical evacuation, vision & dental options.

Cigna global individual private medical insurance head Phil Austin said the new plans offer the ability to provide products that suit customers’ needs, and with the flexibility of teaming a modular approach with deductible and cost share options.

"The new plans are about giving customers much more choice, so they can get all the cover they need without having to pay for cover they don’t need," Austin added.

Marketing products and services in 30 nations and regions, Cigna serves nearly 80 million customer around the globe.
