Cigna, a health service and financial company, and Jefferson Health System, have renewed their agreement continuing full access for Cigna customers to all Jefferson Health System (JHS) facilities, physicians and ancillary services.

Under this agreement, Cigna customers will be able to continue receiving health care services at JHS member institutions at in-network coverage levels.

Those institutions include Main Line Health, including Bryn Mawr Hospital, Paoli Hospital, Riddle Memorial Hospital, Lankenau Medical Center and Bryn Mawr Rehabilitation Hospital; Thomas Jefferson University Hospitals, including Thomas Jefferson University Hospital, the Jefferson Hospital for Neuroscience, and Methodist Hospital; and Magee Rehabilitation Hospital.

It agreement also include JHS member employed physicians and other ancillary providers, including home health care and ambulance companies.

The agreement applies to customers and their covered dependents enrolled in all Cigna commercial products.

Jefferson Health System executive vice president David Simon said that this agreement benefits patients by supporting Jefferson’s mission and allowing to continue to provide quality health care to the members of Cigna’s health plans.
