A subsidiary of China United Insurance Service (CUIS), an insurance brokerage firm with operations in Taiwan and China, has formed a strategic partnership with AIA International Taiwan Branch (AIATW).
AIATW, a division of AIA Group, operates in 16 markets of Asia-Pacific region by holding assets of approximately $134bn.
CUIS CEO Chung-Mei Lo said that the strategic partnership with AIATW further strengthens the company’s position in the growing insurance market in Taiwan.
"Adding AIA’s products to our platform will allow us to even better satisfy our clients’ needs for tailored products, along with recognizing customers’ increasing demands for individualized insurance plans," Lo added.
AIATW CEO Tan Kar-Hor said that Taiwan is one of the major insurance markets in the Asia-Pacific region.
"This agreement allows us to quickly enlarge our distribution reach, while also reinforcing our competitive position in the market," Kar-Hor added.
