Chartis has formed its Global Marine and Energy division’s new logistics unit, a center of underwriting and service unit for logistics companies worldwide. The unit will be led by Bryan Rettmann.

The company said that solutions available through the logistics unit include freight liability and cargo insurance. This helps clients meet the exposures faced when expanding the scope of their services. In addition, clients have access to the global supply chain loss control services.
