Chartis, a property-casualty and general insurance organization, has appointed James Mostofi as president of its US Warranty Division, responsible for directing Chartis’ US warranty and extended warranty insurance group.

Prior to joining Chartis, Mostofi spent 10 years at Service Net Warranty, a warranty administrator, where he served in various roles including general counsel, chief financial officer and most recently, chief operating officer.

Previously, Mostofi spent several years advising warranty and non-warranty clients as a corporate attorney with Frost Brown Todd, specializing in merger and acquisitions and insurance regulatory matters.

Chartis Global Warranty division president head Tom Marsh said his results-oriented management style and deep industry knowledge will be invaluable as he continues to build on the company’s long history.
