The global insurer Chartis has introduced a new suite of coverage endorsements, XSEnhanced: Restaurants and XSEnhanced: Real Estate solutions, to cover the restaurants and real estate industry.

Chartis said that the coverage endorsements developed by its Growth Enterprises Division are to offer industry-specific enhancements to its Growth Enterprises’ Prime Express commercial excess liability insurance solution.

XSEnhanced: Restaurants solution complements the Prime Express excess liability policy for restaurants with up to $25m in annual sales, and expands the policy’s Products Completed Operations Hazard coverage to include coverage for bodily injury and property damage occurring on and off the premises.

In addition, XSEnhanced: Restaurants also features additional coverage for pesticide, herbicide, fungicide, fungus, mold and bacterial conditions.

XSEnhanced: Real Estate coverage expands the Prime Express policy by adding professional liability as well as extending the coverage for pollution and discrimination conditions for firms with up to $25m in annual sales.

Chartis Growth Enterprises Division president Brian Inselberg said restaurants and real estate firms are just two of the nation’s growing enterprise business segments. By creating these industry-specific endorsements, Chartis is effectively rounding out coverage for these growing segments.
