Ceylinco Insurance has been involved in a corporation agreement with Mitsui Sumitomo for the past 11 years

Mitsui Sumitomo Insurance, a Japan-based insurance company, has revived its corporation agreement with Ceylinco Insurance – reported Daily Mirror. Ceylinco Insurance has been involved in a corporation agreement with Mitsui Sumitomo for the past 11 years.

Mr. Jagath Alwis, director technical of Ceylinco Insurance, said: “Our strong relationship with Mitsui Sumitomo has given us an edge over others on many occasions.”

The agreement has been revived when the Srilankan economy is planning to expand on investment. The agreement intends to provide opportunities to gain technical expertise. It facilitates an information exchange program between the two companies relating to global issues, new developments catastrophic risks etc.

Mr. Alwis said: “This is an important area where employees of Ceylinco Insurance will benefit from exposure to highly developed markets and acquire hands-on knowledge in best practices in the industry,” quoted the newspaper.
