Certua’s offering is designed to allow companies looking to distribute innovative new insurance products to get to market quickly and to enable insurers and re-insurers to access new digital markets by removing technological barriers to entry, by leveraging Certua’s Financial Services platform.

Sherpa, an InsurTech company focused on personal risk management, is the first distribution partner to leverage Certua’s Enterprise Insurance platform, in a successful collaboration with established re-insurer Gen Re and manufacturer Scottish Friendly.

Certua Enterprise Insurance Platform supports the creation and distribution of modern, dynamic and adaptable insurance products. It provides rates, recommendations, underwriting and claims rule-sets, along with compliant documentation and digital payment methods, as part of an end-to-end solution, which links clients, distributors and underwriters effectively and efficiently.

This ability to configure and vend products via Enterprise API enables distribution partners to integrate innovative insurance propositions seamlessly into their own existing user journey, in a way that clients appreciate.

Sherpa CEO Chris Kaye said: “Certua has been an integral partner and an essential element in how we have managed to build a genuinely customer and data-driven solution for customers.
