Ceridian Corporation, a HR/payroll providers, has entered into partnership with Fiserv, a provider of information technology services to the financial and insurance industries, to expand its premium payment capabilities.
Under this agreement, Ceridian will soon offer COBRA participants more premium payment options, including the ability to pay with credit and debit cards, according to Ceridian.
Ceridian’s premium management services for COBRA have long enabled customers to pay by check and Automated Clearing House (ACH).
The Fiserv agreement will expand capabilities for the COBRA participant population, which will
enable COBRA participants to pay by credit and debit card and can be facilitated online or over the phone by using an automated interactive voice response system.
Fiserv division president of Biller Solutions Jardon Bouska said as an electronic payments, Fiserv is committed to enabling billers across all industries, including insurers, the ability to offer convenient and cost-effective payment solutions.
