CBG Group, a Manchester-based insurance broker and financial services firm, has launched Craft Brewery Insurance, a new product designed for the brewery industry.
According to CBG Group, the insurance product, developed in conjunction with Sterling Insurance, is designed to provide a full range of insurance cover essential for a commercial brewer.
The Paul Jones, an account executive at CBG Group will lead the new division.
The new Craft Brewery Insurance follows the launch of PALM – a division of CBG Group that provides cover to corporate healthcare organizations for all professional liabilities.
The PALM initiative is a joint venture between CBG, MPS Risk Solutions and Chartis Insurance.
Jones said CBG has built up considerable experience in the brewery industry from working with the Society of Independent Brewers (SIBA) and its members.
"We’ve worked with Sterling to ensure that the Craft Brewery cover addresses all of these requirements. It has been designed to save breweries time and money, while also safeguarding the businesses,"Jones said.
