Catlin UK, a subsidiary of Catlin Group, has partnered with risk mitigation and loss reduction specialist Global Continuity to include disaster recovery solution, BusinessAssist, into its property insurance policies designed for small to medium size UK businesses.
Catlin said that BusinessAssist solution is designed to allow businesses to continue to operate in the event of loss or damage at their premises.
Among other things, BusinessAssist can provide an impacted business within one day with replacement offices; emergency telephone switching; technology recovery; and print, fax and copy capabilities.
BusinessAssist is targeted specifically at SMEs and has been developed by Global Continuity.
Catlin UK regional property manager Dan Martin said BusinessAssist is a powerful enhancement to the suite of UK insurance products. It even covers typically uninsured risks such as telephone failure, protecting against more than headline disasters such as fire and flooding.
