Canopius has unveiled its new group executive committee, with immediate effect, following the formation of two new business units.
The company has appointed Steve Manning as its chief operating officer who will be responsible for all operational matters.
Canopius CEO Inga Beale said the company has expanded its group executive to reflect the increasing scale of its Group and to recognise the depth and strength of its underwriting and management talent.
"These are important changes and will help secure the further growth and ambitions of Canopius," Beale said.
Mike Duffy has been appointed as head of the newly formed Global Property unit, and Steve Gargrave will head up the new GlobalSpecialty unit, while both have been promoted to the executive committee.
Tim Rolfe who is the CEO of UK Retail has also been promoted as a member of executive committee.
The Group Executive Committee is responsible for handling all business underwritten within the comopany.
