Insurance underwriting firm Canopius Group has acquired the businesses of K Drewe Insurance Brokers (K Drewe) and Look Insurance Services.
K Drewe is a wholesale broker in the UK leisure industry and is a specialist in caravan, holiday home, park home, marine leisure and pet insurance.
Look Insurance, an appointed representative of K Drewe, is a retail broker which focuses on the direct leisure insurance market.
Canopius chairman Michael Watson said the acquisition of K Drewe and Look expands the UK retail insurance distribution channels. With their specialist focus and highly regarded brands, these companies augment the capabilities in an increasingly important segment of Canopius’ portfolio.
K Drewe chief operating officer Roger Harvey said the K Drewe and Look teams are delighted to be joining Canopius. As part of a the larger group firms will be better placed to ensure the continuity and quality of service that the brokers and customers value.
