Canal Insurance, a commercial trucking insurer has selected Guidewire Software's Guidewire BillingCenter as its new billing system.
Guidewire has said that the BillingCenter solution will replace the Canal Insurance’s existing legacy billing environment and will give the insurer more billing flexibility and receivables processing capabilities within a single system.
Guidewire BillingCenter is a comprehensive billing and receivables management system built on the core design principles of automation, control and flexibility.
The solution allows the company to automate the billing lifecycle; design flexible billing, payment and delinquency plans; manage agent commissions; and enable rapid integration with external payment systems.
With BillingCenter, Canal Insurance can give general agents access to billing information, expand into other markets, enhance financial and stat reporting capabilities and protect customer privacy with role-based permissions.
Canal Insurance chief information officer Adrian Brown said the company selected BillingCenter based in large part on our previous experience with Guidewire.
