Health insurer Bupa Middle East has expanded its online services for its corporate clients and hospital network partners, to allow for faster and more efficient transactions.

The new services for corporate clients include submission of new scheme members by batch, tracking claims online, and the printing of membership certificates online. These new services allow clients to closely monitor all activities of their healthcare scheme at their convenience.

Emad Abu Darwish, human resources officer of Zahid Tractor, said: The new services and improvements of the online services of BUPA Middle East have had a positive impact on the speed of personnel data registration. Online transaction now takes the shortest possible time.

It is worth mentioning that the new service also enables the employee himself to print a membership certificate for submission to the concerned authorities in the event of loss card, or as proof to be presented to a consulate to get a visa, he added.

Furthermore, all Bupa Middle East corporate clients are given training on how to use the online services, along with a user manual.

Meanwhile, online services for the network of hospitals and clinics of Bupa Middle East were also further developed to offer new and better benefits. Online pre-authorization links have been expanded to cover most hospitals and clinics under the Bupa Middle East network of medical providers. With this process, pre-authorization approval is faster, and in some cases instant, thus cutting the waiting time for members. Currently, 91% of all online pre-authorizations submitted to Bupa Middle East are responded to within 15 minutes. Requests for dental and optical services are often approved instantly.

Bupa Middle East has plans to further develop its online service platform to offer new features for its customers in the future.
