Brit Insurance, a general insurance and reinsurance group, has entered into a partnership with Infosys, a provider of consulting and technology services, to provide a range of back and mid office services.
Under this deal, insurer will transfer non-customer facing operational and IT activities, including elements of IT infrastructure applications management and development to Infosys.
The insurer said the transfer of services to Infosys will begin as early as Autumn this year.
Brit Insurance group operating officer Malcolm Beane said this strategic relationship will bring Brit Insurance increased scalability, flexibility and operational effectiveness to support the core business areas of underwriting, claims and investment management.
