Bridle Insurance, a UK-based insurance intermediary has acquired Harrington Adams, a city of London insurance broker.
Harrington Adams specializes in insuring the cars and homes of London City employees as well as all types of general and small commercial business.
Bridle Insurance head of personal lines Darren Nangle said Harrington Adams is a perfect fit for the company and is the type of business Bridle has been trying to secure for some time.
"As ever, finding the right business mix was key to the purchase and the hard work and enthusiasm the original owners had committed to the company for the past 14 years was clear from the initial meeting," Nangle said.
Harrington Adams was established by Steve and Neil in 1997 to provide motor, home and travel insurance for City of London based workers.
