Insurance services provider BMS Group has appointed Glenn Kerr to lead its wholesale and facultative business in the Asia-Pacific region.
Based in Sydney, Kerr will join the BMS wholesale team, led by BMS Wholesale CEO Nick Cook, on completion of his contractual notice period.
Cook said, "Glenn is a highly respected broker and producer and will be key to the growth of our business in the region."
Kerr said, "The Asia-Pacific region is a growing area and has enormous potential for both facultative and wholesale business."
BMS handles various forms of marine and non-marine reinsurance, commercial and major risks insurance, alternative risk transfer, and risk financing solutions.
It also provides risk advisory services focusing on actuarial, alternative risk transfer, broker replacement, captives, catastrophe modeling, commutation, financial analysis, and portfolio transfer areas.
