Blue Cross Blue Shield of Arizona (BCBSAZ), a health insurance company, has appointed Matthew Wandoloski as vice president, strategy and informatics.
In his new role, Wandoloski will be responsible for guiding the company’s strategy and working with the internal informatics team to utilize data as a strategic asset.
He has more than 30 years of experience in the health care industry, having worked as a consultant and with other health insurance carriers and providers.
Most recently, Wandoloski worked as a Partner with Mercer Consulting, where he was responsible for business development and client management.
His additional experience includes prominent positions with United Healthcare of Arizona, Carondelet Health Network, Intergroup of Arizona, and at BCBSAZ in actuarial and underwriting.
BCBSAZ senior vice president, strategy and analytics Jeff Stelnik said Wandoloski’s broad knowledge base and insightful perspective will help to fortify BCBSAZ’s position in the marketplace.
