Beazley has appointed Jayne Cunningham to its environmental liability team. She will assist in the roll-out of portfolio of traditional pollution legal liability insurance products to commercial organizations.
Ms Cunningham, formerly vice president and underwriting manager with XL Insurance, will be based in Philadelphia. She will underwrite all environmental products offered by the company and will focus on the fixed site pollution coverages.
Ms Cunningham has over 17 years of insurance industry experience. She has underwritten environmental risks for AIG, Zurich Financial Services and most recently XL Insurance. She also developed territories in both the New York and Gulf Coast regions and has underwriting, product development, management and training experience.
John Beauchamp, head of the environmental liability group at Beazley, said: Jayne will be instrumental in the establishment of our disciplined technical underwriting approach to environmental risks.
Her extensive underwriting and product management experience make her well equipped to assist in our efforts to launch our fixed site pollution legal liability product in the upcoming months.
