To minimize the agent’s time consumption

iPipeline, a provider of software that supports marketing, selling, and processing solutions for the insurance carriers, distributors and producers, has announced that Banner Life Insurance has purchased iGO e-App Drop Ticket.

As per the agreement, Banner Life will be implementing iGO e-App Drop Ticket for their life business in January 2010. The roll-out will include William Penn Life Insurance, Banner Life’s New York-based subsidiary that joined the corporate group in 1989.

Tim Wallace, CEO of iPipeline, said: “Banner Life is enabling agents to produce based on the way they like to sell. Analyzing agent selling behavior and the associated performance metrics are key components in our product development strategy, and iGO e-App Drop Ticket is specifically designed to simplify and accelerate selling for agents. It is all about speed, accuracy, and productivity and delivering immediate benefits to carriers, distributors and agents in today’s competitive market. After agents enter information via wizard screens into the Drop Ticket, it is emailed to the distributor for approval and then e-submitted to Banner Life’s call center for completion.”

Hank Cushard, VP of Marketing at Banner Life Insurance, said: “iPipeline’s iGO e-App Drop Ticket solution provides us with a flexible solution designed to minimize the agent’s time investment, hand-off the detailed data gathering related to compliance, financing and payment, and drive our sales. Development and deployment are on a brief timeline, so we expect to realize a return on our investment by the end of Q1 2010.”
