AXIS Global Accident & Health, a division of AXIS Capital Holdings, has appointed Peter Vogt as new chief operating officer of the division and as a member of division's executive board.
Based in Princeton, New Jersey, Vogt will manage AXIS Global Accident & Health’s actuarial, finance, IT, and operations teams.
Before joining AXIS Global Accident & Health, Vogt was executive vice president and chief financial officer at Penn Mutual.
Prior to Penn Mutual, he served as chief financial officer of CIGNA Group Insurance for six years, and also held both leadership and actuarial positions in his 15 years at Hartford Life Insurance.
