Aviva has chosen Coverity development testing as part of its strategic software quality initiatives across its UK General Insurance (GI) Division partner to help drive quality further upstream across its development organization and global software supply chain.
Commenting on the selection of new solution to improve customer experience, Aviva UK GI division application design and delivery head Ben Riches said customer experience is really important to Aviva.
The solution chosen by Aviva includes product for finding critical defects in development, Coverity Static Analysis, as well as Coverity Architecture Analysis for architecture visualization, Coverity Integrity Manager for developer collaboration, and Coverity Integrity Control for policy management and code governance.
The comprehensive suite of solutions will assist the firm to develop testing platform for software development, Quality Assurance (QA) and senior management team including accelerated time-to-market and cost reduction.
The Coverity solution combines with HP Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) 11.0 on SaaS, thus delivering a new level of visibility into development by incorporating code quality into the overall definition and view of application quality, said Aviva.
