Aviva has selected Guidewire PolicyCenter and ClaimCenter as its new underwriting and policy administration solution and new claims management system respectively for its core UK general insurance business.

Guidewire’s PolicyCenter and ClaimCenter will enhance Aviva’s underwriting and claims handling practices to assist reduce loss ratios and prevent underwriting and claims leakage.
The solutions will also increase Aviva’s business agility for long-term growth and changes while creating operational efficiencies through the consolidation of disparate systems.
Aviva will use Guidewire’s solutions to enhance user experience and self-sufficiency with the depth and breadth of the systems’ functionality and easy-to-use features.
The flexible underwriting and policy administration system, Guidewire PolicyCenter has been designed to support both commercial and personal lines while enabling insurers to grow business profitably with efficiency.
ClaimCenter’s flexible business rules enable claims organisations to define, enforce, and continually refine their preferred claim handling practices in order to optimise and monitor their claim processes.
