Aviva, a British diversified insurer, has partnered with Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents (RoSPA), to offer its brokers and customers with a wide range of safety and health training to protect their businesses.

With this development, Aviva policyholders, underwriters and brokers will benefit from courses, consultancy and online training provided by RoSPA.

In addition, customers will gain access to the RoSPA Infocentre, a library catalog of safety-related documents, which provides an enquiry service on all aspects of safety and health.

As part of the deal, Aviva will become a member of RoSPA, thereby playing a key role in strengthening RoSPA’s work, while helping to lower the tragic scourge of accidents.

RoSPA operations director Frances Richardson said, "This partnership with Aviva will have a big influence on the risk management of so many organisations, as we work together to help fulfil our charitable mission to save lives and reduce injuries."

Aviva Risk Management Solutions risk manager Simon Bramall said, "By offering access to RoSPA’s courses, resources and consultancy, we believe this will help our customers to better understand, manage and control their risks.

"From Aviva’s perspective, RoSPA’s services allow us to build stronger and deeper relationships with our customers by helping them to meet their risk management needs."
