Atrium Underwriting Group, a specialist insurer and reinsurer at Lloyd’s of London, has selected AIR Worldwide’s catastrophe modeling software to enhance underwriting processes of Syndicate 609 and better manage global catastrophe risk.
Syndicate 609 writes onshore and offshore direct and facultative (D&F) business and will rely on CLASIC/2 application, which enables companies to assess catastrophe risk down to individual location level.
AIR Worldwide London managing director Milan Simic said that Atrium’s selection of the company for both onshore and offshore D&F modeling is confirmation of the growing presence of AIR across all classes of business in the London market.
