UK-based insurer Atrium Underwriting has appointed Andrew Baddeley as the new executive finance director of the company and of its Atrium Underwriters Limited unit, replacing Simon Curtis, who will be stepping down at the end of September 2007.
<p>Prior to this, Mr Baddeley was CFO of General Reinsurance Corporation (Gen Re) for the UK and Ireland. He has also been finance director of global finance and COO of finite risk at Gen Re.<br /><br />Steve Cook, CEO of Atrium Underwriting, said: We are delighted to welcome Andrew to Atrium. He brings with him a wealth of experience and expertise, not only in the insurance and financial services sectors but specifically in Lloyd's and US reporting.
